Scheduling and other policies
By scheduling an appointment with Haul Lift Load, you agree to the following policies:
Deposit required to book:
A deposit will be required to book an appointment. The amount of the deposit is equal to the minimum charge for your job. You can pay your deposit by Venmo or card over the phone.
Cancellation:
In the event you need to cancel your appointment, your deposit will be returned to you within 5-7 days. If you cancel your appointment within 24 hours of your appointment time, your deposit will be forfeited.
Rescheduling:
In the event you need to reschedule your appointment, you may do so pending our availability. If you reschedule your appointment within 24 hours of your appointment time, your deposit will be forfeited. If your deposit is forfeited in this way, an additional deposit will be required to reschedule.
Change of job details:
In the event you need to change details about your job, you may do so with our approval. If you change your job details within 24 hours of your appointment time and you changes are not approved, your deposit will be forfeited.
Cancellation of job in progress:
In the event your job cannot be completed as planned for any reason, including but not limited to that cargo will not fit where planned, the cargo is no longer desired, the destination is not accessible, etc., we may, at our discretion, 1) Return your cargo to its point of origin, or 2) Place your cargo in a storage facility, or 3) Leave your cargo at its originally intended destination, or 4) Take other actions as we deem appropriate to manage undeliverable cargo. You agree to that you will be responsible for any charges or costs incurred in these processes and that you may be required to pay such charges or costs in advance. You further release Haul Lift Load from any responsibility for loss of your cargo and grant express permission to leave your cargo outside buildings at the origin and/or destination and/or in unsecure locations.
Customer as helper:
If you choose to help lift your cargo, you agree to hold harmless and indemnify Haul Lift Load from claims arising out of your inclusion in such labor. You understand that all transport work involves unforeseeable and unavoidable risks and Haul Lift Load shall not, under any circumstances, be liable to you for consequential, indirect,
incidental, special, punitive, or exemplary damages or losses
arising out of or related to the work or to this agreement, even
if you have been advised of the likelihood of such damages
occurring. To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree that any claim related to services performed shall be limited to the amount you paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim. You agree that any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to the services performed, this Agreement, or the relationship between myself and Haul Lift Load shall be resolved exclusively through binding arbitration. Arbitration shall be administered in accordance with the Colorado Uniform Arbitration Act and conducted in Boulder County, Colorado. The arbitrator’s decision shall be final and binding, and judgment on the award may be entered in any court of competent jurisdiction. You understand that by agreeing to arbitration, you are waiving your right to bring a lawsuit in court and your right to a jury trial.
